My-bloodsugar (Capsules) / Assist with the Maintenance of Healthy Blood Sugar Levels and Supports Healthy Glyceamic Control (Organic, GMO-free, BPA-free, Alcohol-free, Vegan, Probiotic)

Tuesday, July 2nd, 2013

Assist with the maintenance of healthy blood sugar levels and supports healthy glyceamic control Alpha Lipoic acid is the main ingredient in My-Bloodsugar. Alpha Lipoic acid is an antioxidant that is made by the body and is found in every cell, where it helps turn glucose into energy. Antioxidants are substances that attack “free radicals,” waste products created when the body turns food into energy. Free radicals cause harmful chemical reactions that can damage cells in the body, making it harder for the body to fight off infections. They also damage organs and tissues. Unlike other antioxidants, which work only in water (such as vitamin C) or fatty tissues (such as vitamin E), Alpha Lipoic acid is both fat- and water-soluble. That means it can work throughout the body. In addition, antioxidants are depleted as they attack free radicals, but evidence suggests Alpha Lipoic acid may help regenerate these other antioxidants and make them active again. Diabetes Alpha Lipoic acid can lower blood sugar levels, and its ability to kill free radicals may help reduce pain, burning, itching, tingling, and numbness in people who have nerve damage caused by diabetes (called peripheral neuropathy). Alpha-lipoic acid has been used for years for this purpose in Europe.

Vegan Diet Shock – How I Developed Osteoporosis, Pre-Diabetes and Anemia on a Vegan Diet

Vegan Diet Shock – How I Developed Osteoporosis, Pre-Diabetes and Anemia On A Vegan Diet

– Do you think that you’re eating a healthy vegan diet? I thought so too.
– Do you think there’s no need to get your blood tested? That’s also what I thought.
– Have you got any minor health issues that you haven’t had checked out? If so, get your blood tested.
– Do you want to stay healthy? Then read this book.

If you’re eating a vegan diet, or planning to start one, then you really need to read this book. It could save you from osteoporosis, diabetes, anemia, low vitamin B12, low vitamin D, low zinc, and much, much more.

Why Should You Listen To Me?

Because I was a vegan for around 30 years, and I still ended up with osteoporosis, pre-diabetes and anemia. How many other vegans out there have undiagnosed conditions that could be unnknowingly destroying their health?

How Many Vegans Share Their Blood Test Results?

Not many. Either they are assuming they are healthy, or they don’t want you to know the results. This book contains all my hospital results, including blood tests, urine tests, bone density tests, heart assessement tests, untrasound tests, prostate tests and fitness assessment tests. You get to see what I was like after 30 years on a vegan diet. I was SHOCKED!

Find Out How I Tried To Resolve My Health Issues

I explain what I did and what I am still doing in order to try to resolve these health issues.

What If You’re Not Vegan?

Because I was vegan for 30 years, my aim is to alert and educate other vegans, but this book would be equally useful to both vegetarians and meat-eaters. I have seen plenty of people from these groups with similar medical conditions.

Don’t Just Assume You’re OK.

I made the mistake of assuming I was ok. Please don’t make the same mistake as me.

About The Author

I was a vegan for 30 years, and have many vegan friends. Many have health issues, some quite serious. I want to alert other vegans to some issues that don’t get talked about much in the vegan community. A vegan diet can be great, but let’s also start mentioning the not so great things. Read this book – your health depends on it.

Diet Made Easy For Vegans: Proper Diabetes Management Using Vegan Recipes : Diabetes Diet Meal Plans, Recipes And Easy Lifestyle Guide

Monday, January 28th, 2013

Everyone is aware that as a diabetic that you have to adhere to a specific diet and in certain situations you have to take medication as well. What however happens if you were on a specific diet before like a vegan diet?

How can you maintain that diet without eating anything that will affect the condition that you have been diagnosed? “Diabetes Diet Made Easy For Vegans: Proper Diabetes Management Using Vegan Recipes” solves that problem for a lot of persons. Within this text a vegan or any individual for that matter that has been diagnosed with diabetes can learn how to stick to their diet without any problems.

The vegan diet is actually a better option as it is not only low in saturated fat and cholesterol but it is filled with enough protein and fiber to fulfill the daily requirements for nutrients. With this diet it is much easier to maintain the levels of glucose in the blood.

This book is a must have for every diabetic (not necessarily vegans alone) as it is an extremely beneficial option if one is to remain healthy and happy. The plant based diet is nothing to balk at and the way to make the transition if you are not vegan is also outlined.

About the Authors:
Mary Lime is all too familiar with the process of careful selection of what she eats as she is gluten intolerant like other members in her household. As such the transition had to be made by all to a diet free from gluten to keep the possibility of cross contamination at zero.

She has done her research over the years and had put together a rough manual as a guide for herself and her family on things to do and what foods to purchase etc when her husband suggested that she put it in print for others that share the same fate.

After careful consideration she chose to do so as she was more than fully aware of the challenges an individual in her situation might face especially when it came down to shopping for foodstuff every week. Her books isn’t overwhelming by any means and provides a wealth of information that any celiac/gluten intolerant individual would find extremely useful.

The transition is not as hard as many may feel as the menu options are just as filling and may even be tastier in some instances than what they used to consume beforehand. In the long run Mary has presented a much healthier and safer way to eat. Mary also enjoy a vegan diet and share dietary information with her friend Dana; who happen to be diabetic.

Dana Tebow is no stranger to the any form of diabetic diet as she was diagnosed with type II diabetes in her adult life. She went through many nutritionists in her quest to find the right diet for her, one that she knew that she would be able to stick to without any challenges.

After a lengthy process she was introduced to the vegan diet. She was a bit out off at first but soon discovered that it was really beneficial not only to control the level of glucose in the blood but she also discovered that some studies indicate that the vegan diet can lower the occurrence of cardiovascular disease in diabetics.

Dana is aware that some people may be as put off as she was initially but assures the readers that a seamless transition can be made from their former to the more healthy vegan diet if they do it in stages and not all at once.

The recipes are just as tasty as the regular ones were but without all of the saturated fats and cholesterol that is bad for the health. She even has a bonus chapter which outlines some of her favorite dishes that readers can try out for themselves.

Sunfood Dark Agave Nectar, Certified Organic, Non-GMO Verified, Vegan, Raw, 32oz

Sunday, January 20th, 2013

A mineral rich, dark syrup with a vanilla-like aroma and a hint of maple syrup flavor. Truly one of a kind!
100% of this product is made from the world-renowned blue agave plant, composed of 85% fructose!
Blue Agave is higher in fructose-producing carbohydrates than other types of agave, and is considered to be the finest agave in the world. It is unprocessed, unfiltered and natural, thus retaining valuable nutrients, minerals and enzymes that are absent from many other agave products and sweeteners. This product is made using state-of-the-art low-temperature processing technology making it the least heat-exposed dark agave product on the market.
Agave syrup is a natural product that can sweeten any type of beverage or food. It is derived from the carbohydrates present in the agave plant. To produce organic agave syrup, juice is expressed from the core of the agave plant. Compared to the delicate taste of our Amber Agave, a slightly longer processing period produces the rich, dark color and a tempting maple-like flavor in the Dark Agave Syrup.
Dark agave has a relatively low glycemic index (even when compared to other agave products), meaning that it is metabolized more slowly into the bloodstream than other sweeteners. This special quality makes it a valuable resource for diabetics, people with hypoglycemia, or anyone who is concerned with maintaining an even blood-sugar level. It is also a valuable resource for all raw-food chefs and lovers of fine cuisine, bringing subtle maple and molasses flavors to any dish or drink. Agave also has unique hydrating properties. Ancient inhabitants of the Mexican region believed that it purified the body and soul.
Our farmers in Mexico use HPLC to make chromatographic studies on sugars, monitoring closely the mineral and sugar concentrations of our agave syrups in order to insure they are the best available anywhere worldwide.

Product Features

  • Raw, Organic Dark Agave Nectar.
  • Premium, unfiltered, natural. Non-GMO, Certified Organic
  • Molasses or maple-like flavor with hint of vanilla.
  • 32-ounce glass jar.
  • Amber Agave is the most unique, natural, healthy, completely vegan sweetener in the world!

LOW GLYCEMIC CARBOHYDRATES
In addition to the need for complete nutrient intake, many people have high blood sugar which requires them to eliminate high glycemic carbohydrates. The truth is everybody will benefit from a low glycemic diet. People that consume a diet high in refined carbohydrates are often fraught with health problems and don’t even know why. The International Diabetes Federation warns that even non-diabetics with postprandial glucose above 140 mg/dL (normally measured two hours after a meal) are at significant risk for many diseases including retinal damage to the eye, arterial blockage, oxidative stress, increased inflammation, endothelial dysfunction, reduced coronary blood flow and increased risk for cancer. There is also clinical evidence that high glucose levels interfere with proper hormone balance and serotonin levels.

GLUTEN FREE
Gluten is the protein found in wheat and other grains. Gluten sensitivity has been associated with blood disorders, dermatitis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, neurological disorders, connective tissue disorders, myositis, precancerous states and some cancers. If a person has high anti-gliadin antibodies the immune system is activated and inflammation is active throughout the body. Often eliminating gluten alone can have tremendous impacts on one’s health.

DAIRY FREE
Between lactose intolerance and sensitivity to casein, dairy products can cause problems anywhere from increasing silent inflammation to acute gastrointestinal, dermatological and respiratory problems. Eliminating dairy products from ones normal diet can produce immediate relief from seemingly chronic problems.
