I was extremely pleased at the results

I selected this bag for our trip from San Francisco to the Galapagos Islands via Ecuador. I have a high end thermal temperature reader and ran pre-checks(Sorry, didn’t write down actual numbers) but the blue ice temperature was around 21 degrees when I inserted it the med bag, Too cold for my insulin but was floored when the surface temperature through the mesh was about 36 degrees within the allowable range for my insulin. With the 3 hour wait at the airport, 5 hour flight to miami, 2 hour layover there and then about 4-5 hours for the flight and get to our hotel in Quito, I arrived at the hotel and the inside of the bag was in the I would guess mid 60’s.

Perfect if you have a lot of meds.

Got this to take on a mission trip where I knew I would be outdoors all day every day. Kept everything cool for 15+ hours a day without a problem and then refroze overnight. Fit all 6 of my pens as well as needles, testing supplies, 7 different oral meds, and skittles packs for 2 weeks. Not sure you could fit more than that in there, but I’m on the high end on # of meds I take, so for most people it would have a ton of space. Perfect bag for travel or everyday use.

Very Happy Traveler

I have traveled with this twice now since I purchased it, and I am very happy with this bag. It keeps my insulin cold all day, and has storage for all my supplies. It goes through TSA checkpoints without a problem.

I highly recommend it to diabetics and anyone else who needs to …

I traveled internationally with my insulin in this bag with complete ease of mind. After 15 hours of travel, the gel pack was still frozen and the insulin was kept cold. I got this for a much longer trip so I know it will keep my meds cold enough. I highly recommend it to diabetics and anyone else who needs to keep their meds refrigerated. It has plenty of room inside for everything you would need in one place–needles and alcohol wipes, as well as your monitor.

Great for traveling with meds that have to be kept cold.

Used to keep meds cool during a long travel day. Went through TSA & customes with no problems–maybe we were just lucky–but had a copy of the prescription inside. Seems to be well made. I did discover that it is best to freeze the ‘blue’ ice between 2 other items in the freezer to keep it flat. The first time I froze it, it swelled up in the middle.

Plenty of pockets!

I bought this bag to travel to Florida and found it to be an excellent space saver. The shoulder strap attaches from one side, so the bag hangs a little crooked but I got used to it. It has a lot of pockets for your supplies and identification. The odor from the freezer bag was too much for me so I just replaced it with another one. There is a very large space for it so all your insulin stays cool. I used insulin pens and there are elastic loops for plenty of pens.

Frozen enough for my medication to stay cool on the trip to the next island

I recently traveled to Hawaii which included a 9+ hour flight plus a few hours to get to hotel so over 14 hours of total travel time before I had a refrigerator to put my medication. When I got to my hotel room the ice pack was still almost completely frozen. I didn’t have a freezer to put it in so put in the mini fridge where it stayed for 2 days and it was still partially frozen when I took it out after those 2 days. Frozen enough for my medication to stay cool on the trip to the next island. I will be using this for road trips and traveling in the future, it’s the first one I’ve found that stays cold for so long. It would be easy to carry with the included shoulder strap but I put it in my carry on. It is rather large and did take up quite a bit of space in my carry on but it holds a lot so I was able to put all of my syringes, 3 different medications (I am panhypopituitary) – enough for 2 weeks, alcohol wipes and still had room for more. Very glad I purchased this and will get a lot of use out of in the future.
