    carbs (and sugar) too high in many of these recipes Once you get past the salad section, these recipes have too many carbohydrates for a diabetic. Soy and Rice Stuffed Cabbage has 49 carbs, 23 of those being sugar! Why on Earth do you need so much sugar in cabbage rolls?? Wheatberry and Bean Soup has a whopping 63 grams of carbs. Soy & Bean chili – 60 carbs … much of that in an over-serving of rice.This is clearly someone using insulin so they can eat more carbs … NOT the best thing for your body.I prefer to totally control my diabetes with diet and diet alone.
