    Great Learnings and Recipes This is a cookbook you can actually read and learn a lot about diet and nutrition. That is why it is technically a “diet book” that happens to have awesome recipes in it. The pictures in the book are great and it really can change the way you think about cooking and eating. I may lose 10lbs in 6 weeks, but over time I think the effect of books like these could be much much more.Oh, and this book has no artificial sweeteners, which is great because I am NOT a fan of them.I never knew that if you are 10lbs overweight, it can cut 3 years off your life!

    Best diet food EVER I received Rocco’s new cookbook in the mail this past week. This is not only a cookbook. Chapters 1-8 are written text and very informative. He provides so much information about health, weight loss, food, and exercise that I never knew about before. Rocco explains how to watch your calories, learn to cook, and what bad foods to avoid. He talks extensively about the process of losing weight. The best thing about this book is that it made me feel HOPEFUL. I’m trying to lose weight, but I never stuck to one plan. In other diet books, they just give you recipes and that’s it. Rocco explains everything in detail and really takes the time to make us understand how it works. Everything is color coded and he even provides shopping lists! After chapter 8 is when we start seeing the recipes. Every recipe has a picture which is nice. The ingredients in the recipes are very easy to find. I’m glad he didn’t use any artificial sweeteners in this book. I have already made these recipes in the book:1. Chicken Pesto Pasta on page 2082. Loaded Potato Skins on page 2343. Fried Cheese Balls on page 2414. Double Chocolate Chip Cookies on page 256I have to say, they all exceeded my expectations. I never thought I could eat food that tastes like this and loose weight. If I served you the food I made from this book and didn’t tell you it was diet food, I guarantee you wouldn’t know the difference. I’m really glad I bought this book! Hoping to loose weight.
